Frequently Asked Questions: Certified Translation in Jeddah

The branch and opening hours

Do you have a physical office in Jeddah?

Yes. Our branch is at Office 8, 3rd Floor, 8153 Prince Sultan Rd, 5152 Al Basatin, Jeddah 23717. You can visit to drop off documents and collect printed translations, or complete your whole order on WhatsApp and have the printed copy delivered. Contact

What are the Jeddah branch hours? Are you open on Friday?

Walk-in hours are Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 16:00. The branch is closed on Friday and Saturday. WhatsApp +966 56 944 2222 accepts orders 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

I live in Makkah, Madinah or Taif. Can you help me?

Yes. Send your document on WhatsApp, receive your price and delivery time, and get the stamped translation electronically. For paper, pick it up yourself (or send someone) at the Al Basatin office, as delivery is currently available within Jeddah only.

Turnaround and cost

How long does a translation take?
  • Iqama, national ID, driving licence and passport data page: within 1 hour.
  • Other urgent documents: the same day, or at the time confirmed with your quote. An extra fee applies to urgent work.
  • Longer documents such as contracts and detailed reports: we give you an exact delivery time before we start.
How much does certified translation cost in Jeddah?

We don’t quote a flat per-page rate without seeing the document, because the cost depends on the document type, text density, page count, language and turnaround. Share a photo and the quote comes back first; nothing starts, and nothing is owed, until you say yes.

Can a medical report be translated urgently?

Yes. Send the report and tell us when your appointment is. The quote states when it will be ready; rushing a report carries an added charge. Medical report translation

Certification and acceptance

What makes your translation certified?

Almadani Translation holds Saudi certified-translation license No. 64 and has worked in this field since 1982. Every translation we issue is stamped and signed, and a second translator reviews it against the original before certification.

Are your translations accepted by embassies and consulates?

Our name appears on the translator lists kept by the British and U.S. embassies in Riyadh. That listing is not an endorsement; each consulate or office makes its own acceptance decision. What you get from us is a stamped, signed certified translation, the form official bodies usually look for. Some consulates, however, require further legalisation from other authorities, or accept only translators on their own list. Check the website of the relevant consulate or visa centre before you order, and we are happy to help you read the requirements. Consulate translation

Do I get a copy on WhatsApp, and is it enough?

Yes, every client receives a stamped electronic copy on WhatsApp in addition to the printed one. Whether it is enough depends on the receiving authority. Many authorities and online portals accept the stamped electronic copy, while some insist on paper. The printed copy can be delivered within Jeddah, or picked up from our Jeddah office during walk-in hours.

Documents

Do I need to bring the original document?

Not for the translation itself. A clear photo or PDF showing all text and stamps is enough. Still, bring the original when you submit, since some offices want to compare it with the translation.

Which languages do you translate?

Any language pair, African languages included. Name the language in your first message, and the quote will carry the expected ready time.

Do you translate documents for companies and traders?

Yes: CRs, articles of association, commercial contracts, financial statements, trademark documents, Hajj and Umrah contracts, shipping and customs documents, and technical and industrial documents. Company documents · Shipping and customs documents · Technical translation

How do you protect my privacy?

Only the team assigned to your file sees it, and a non-disclosure agreement is available if you want one. This matters especially for medical reports, contracts and financial data.

Is the Jeddah branch part of a larger office?

Yes. Almadani Translation has its head office in Riyadh and branches in Jeddah and Al Khobar, and has served more than 20,000 clients since 1982. About us · Head office
