Certified Translation for Consulate and Embassy Files in Jeddah
No Saudi city deals with consulates more than Jeddah. It hosts consulates general for a large number of countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines, as well as visa application centres serving the western region. Almost every file submitted to them includes a Saudi document issued in Arabic that needs a certified translation.
At Almadani Translation’s Jeddah branch, we translate the documents in your file and stamp and sign them. A second translator reviews every page, and we keep names spelled identically across all your papers. One letter of difference between your passport and your child’s birth certificate can hold up an entire application.

How we prepare a consular translation
Names kept consistent across the file
Your passport spelling becomes the reference for every document: birth certificate, marriage contract, bank statement and employer letter. If a previous document uses a different spelling, tell us before we start.
Dates exactly as in the original
Many Saudi documents carry Hijri dates, and we translate them as written. Where the original also shows a Gregorian date, we reproduce it exactly, rather than converting dates ourselves in a way that could conflict with your other papers.
Bank statements in their original layout
We keep the table layout, transaction order and balances of bank statements, so a consular officer can match the translation against the original quickly.
Stamps, signatures and annotations
We note every stamp, signature, logo and QR code in the original, because the reviewing officer compares the two pages side by side.
A second review before certification
A second translator reviews the whole file, focusing on names, numbers and dates, before the translation is stamped and signed.
Before you order: three tips that can save you a wasted appointment
- Read the requirements list on the website of the consulate or visa centre handling your application. Some require the original document to be legalised by a government authority before translation, and some accept only translators on their own list. Our name is on the British and U.S. embassies’ translator lists in Riyadh, and our translations carry a stamp and signature, yet only the receiving authority decides what it accepts.
- Legalise first, then translate, if legalisation is required, so the translation also covers the legalisation stamps.
- Leave enough time before your appointment. We deliver iqamas, IDs, passport pages and driving licences within one hour, and other urgent documents the same day or at the confirmed time. Other legalisation steps may take longer.

Frequently asked questions
Do you guarantee the consulate will accept the translation?
No office can guarantee another authority’s decision. What we commit to is an accurate, reviewed certified translation that is stamped and signed. Please check the consulate’s requirements before you order.
Do you translate into languages other than English, such as French or Italian?
Yes, African languages included. Say which language the consulate wants and the quote will show the ready time.
My file has twenty pages. Can it all be delivered together?
Yes. We set one delivery time for the full file, or deliver the most urgent documents first.
