Details that make the difference
The name of the major
“Electrical and Computer Engineering” is not just “Electrical Engineering”. We carry the major over as written, and if the university has an official English name for the programme we use it, so send any earlier document that shows it.
GPA and grading scale
Universities in the Kingdom use different scales, such as out of five or out of four. We translate the GPA and its scale exactly as shown and do not convert the GPA to another system, because conversion belongs to the university or evaluation body.
Transcripts
We keep the table layout: course codes and titles, credit hours and grades, so an admissions officer can compare the translation with the original line by line.
Names and dates
Names follow the passport spelling, and dates appear as in the original, Hijri or Gregorian.
Attestation first or translation first?
Some universities and authorities abroad require the certificate to be attested by the university, the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before translation; others accept a certified translation directly. Ask the authority which order it needs, and if attestation is required, send us the certificate after attestation so the translation includes the attestation stamps.
