North Jeddah districts we serve
The branch is open to everyone in Jeddah, and its Al Basatin location puts it inside the north of the city. Districts we serve, in person or over WhatsApp, include:
- Al Basatin, Al Muhammadiyah and An Naim: the branch’s own district and its northern neighbours
- Az Zahra, As Salamah and Ar Rawdah: busy residential and commercial districts in North Jeddah
- Ash Shati, An Nahdah and Al Murjan: the districts near the northern Corniche
- Obhur North and Obhur South: for those at the far north, where a WhatsApp order with delivery is a practical choice
- Al Hamra, Al Andalus and Al Khalidiyah: along with the other districts near the north
If your district is not on the list, that does not mean we do not serve it. These are only examples, and WhatsApp orders are open from anywhere.
Three ways to order from North Jeddah
Visit the branch
A good choice if you have an original you want us to see, or a file of several documents you would rather discuss face to face. For one-hour documents, such as the iqama, national ID, passport data page and driving licence, you can wait while the translation is finished.
WhatsApp with delivery
Send a clear photo of the document and you receive a quote and a delivery time, then the stamped translation electronically. We deliver the printed copy to every North Jeddah district, Obhur included, for a delivery fee stated with your quote.
WhatsApp with branch pickup
Order from home or work, then you, or someone on your behalf, collect the printed copy from the branch during opening hours.
What do people in North Jeddah usually need translated?
North Jeddah combines residential districts home to families of many nationalities, international schools, hospitals and medical centres, and company offices. So the documents that need certified translation vary widely:
- Visa and consular files: bank statements, employment letters and birth certificates
- Identity documents: iqama, national ID, passport data page and driving licence, within one hour
- School documents: certificates and transcripts when children move between schools or countries
- Medical reports: for insurance, treatment abroad or sick leave
- Company documents: commercial registration, contracts and financial statements
- Family documents: marriage contracts, birth certificates and family records
We translate from and into any language, African languages included.
Delivery times
| Document | Time |
|---|---|
| Iqama, national ID, passport data page, driving licence | Within one hour |
| Other urgent documents | Same day, or at the time confirmed with your quote |
| Large files | A schedule agreed with your quote |
Rush service is available for an extra fee. Prices are quoted on request according to the document type, language and length.
Is there a translation office in North Jeddah open on Friday?
Our Al Basatin branch is closed to walk-ins on Friday and Saturday, and we say so plainly so you do not arrive at a locked door. However, WhatsApp takes orders 24/7, Friday and Saturday included, and the delivery time is confirmed with your quote. If a document is truly urgent, send it as soon as you need it rather than waiting for the start of the week.
Why a physical branch in the north makes a difference
A real branch means an address you can reach, people you can hand an original to and ask directly, and a place to pick up the printed copy the same day if you need it. The branch follows the same standards as our Riyadh head office: a stamp and signature, a review by a second translator before delivery, and a non-disclosure agreement on request. Almadani Translation is listed on the translator lists of the British and U.S. Embassies in Riyadh, although acceptance of a translation is always decided by the receiving authority.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to come to Al Basatin to order?
No. The whole order can be handled on WhatsApp. Visiting is optional, for those who prefer it or want to collect the printed copy themselves.
Do you deliver to Obhur?
Yes. Delivery covers Obhur North and South and every North Jeddah district, with a delivery fee confirmed in your quote.
Is it Al Basatin or Al Basateen?
Both spellings refer to the same district; you will see either on maps and signs. Our national address uses Al Basatin.
Can someone else collect the translation for me?
Yes. Someone on your behalf can collect the printed copy from the branch; just tell us their name on WhatsApp beforehand.
