How to Order

The fastest way to order certified translation online from our Jeddah branch is WhatsApp: a clear photo of the document, the name of the authority you are submitting it to, and we are off. You only need to visit the branch if you want to; the stamped translation reaches you electronically, and the printed copy comes by delivery or from our office in Al Basatin. This page walks through the whole route, from the first message to receiving your translation.

The route in five stops

1. Photograph

Photograph the whole document with your phone, in daylight or good lighting, from straight above. If it is two-sided, photograph both sides; if it has several pages, send them all in order or combine them in one PDF.

2. Send

Send the photos on WhatsApp at +966 56 944 2222, or to info@almadanitranslation.co if the files are large. Include three details: the target language, the receiving authority, and when you need the translation.

3. Quote

We review the document and send you the price and delivery time. Prices are quote-on-request because they vary with document type, language, length and urgency, and there is no commitment before you agree.

4. Translation and review

Once you confirm, the translator starts, then a second translator checks names, numbers and dates, and the translation is stamped and signed.

5. Receive

Every client gets a stamped electronic copy of the translation on WhatsApp as soon as it is ready. It comes in addition to the printed copy, not instead of it: choose delivery within Jeddah or pickup at Al Basatin. Bear in mind that some authorities still require the printed original.

How long does it take?

Document typeTurnaround
Iqama, ID, passport data page, driving licenceWithin one hour
Other urgent documentsSame day or at the time confirmed with the quote
Large and technical filesTime agreed with the quote

Urgent service is available for an extra fee, which we explain before we start.

Common mistakes that delay orders

  • Cropped photos: stamps, signatures and serial numbers often sit near the edges
  • Front side only: many documents carry data or stamps on the back
  • Not naming the receiving authority: some authorities have wording or layout requirements
  • Not confirming name spelling: if your passport has an official spelling, send it so the translation matches your other papers
  • Leaving it to the last day: if you have a consulate or university appointment, send the document as early as you can

Ordering at the branch

If you prefer face to face, visit us Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 16:00 (closed Friday and Saturday) at Office 8, 3rd Floor, 8153 Prince Sultan Rd, Al Basatin, Jeddah. Bring the original and we will review it with you and confirm the price and time on the spot. Outside those hours, WhatsApp takes orders around the clock.

Company orders

Companies sending documents regularly, such as employee contracts, shipping papers or tender files, can agree a fixed contact channel and an organised way of sending files, with an NDA on request. Send us a sample of your usual documents and we will suggest a workflow that suits your volume.

Is the electronic copy accepted?

That depends on the receiving authority. Some accept the stamped electronic file; others want the original printed copy. If unsure, ask for both, or check with the authority before submitting.

What if the document is in a less common language?

We translate from and into every language, including African languages. Send the document as usual; if the language needs more time than usual, we say so in the quote before you confirm.
